Women's Basketball Sun Belt Champions Ring Reveal
My first project of the 2026–27 school year was the ring reveal for JMU Women's Basketball team following their Sun Belt Championship winning season.
From a creative standpoint, I wanted the video to feel as celebratory and exciting as the accomplishment itself. We used shiny confetti and reflective poster board as part of our set, along with diopter lenses to create more dynamic and visually interesting shots, while shooting everything in manual focus for greater control over each reveal.
In post, I incorporated overlays of our players and Head Coach to connect the ring back to the people who helped bring another trophy back to Harrisonburg. Being able to kick off the school year by celebrating such a meaningful accomplishment for the team made this project especially exciting to be a part of.

Women's Basketball End of year recap
For the 2025–26 women’s basketball end-of-year recap, I wanted to tell the story of the entire season in a way that felt bigger than just a collection of highlights. At 15 minutes, the challenge was finding a way to balance the biggest wins, the everyday moments, the personalities of the team, and everything that happened throughout the season while still keeping the story moving. The season ultimately ended with JMU winning the Sun Belt Championship after two years of overtime losses in the Championship Title Game and returning to the NCAA Tournament, giving the recap a natural moment to build toward. I spent roughly two months building the piece, digging through game footage, watching every player and coach press conference throughout the season, and behind-the-scenes moments to tell the season's story.
